Description
D1S HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Xenon headlight bulb often used in premium vehicles for their superior brightness and longevity compared to traditional halogen bulbs. Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Range Rover are some of the compatible vehicles.
It is a 35W, 85V bulb and requires up to 26,000 volts initially to ignite, which is manage by an external component called a ballast. HID bulbs produce a bright, often bluish-white light that is much brighter than halogen bulbs and closer to natural daylight.
